If you would like to receive Distance Racing event invites and reminders (or opt out), update your group participation within your member profile in Wild Apricot.  

The Captain Morgan Regatta is a 2-day distance racing format.  Trophies are awarded to winning cabin boat and the winning dinghy based on corrected time (handicap).

SCHEDULE of EVENTS

Official Online Notice Board for the Captain Morgan Regatta.

We may sail up to 3 races.

Saturday May 25
1:00 PM Racing; at least one distance race (half of lake; 5.5 miles)
4:30 PM (approx.) Post-Race Recap at Powerhouse Pub in Dewitt.

Sunday May 26
10:00 AM BRUNCH!  Coffee, pancakes, and fruit. Register for Brunch here.
1:00 PM Racing; at least one distance race (half of lake; 5.5 miles)
5:00 PM (approx.) Awards (following races) at Peninsula Day Use Pavillion.

Prizes:
Captain Morgan Sword- winning Cabin Boat skipper
Captain Morgan Dagger- winning Dinghy skipper

Peninsula Day Use Pavillion for Sunday Brunch and Awards:


Members of the Distance Racing group will receive an event announcement email.  Those who do not RSVP yes or no (see announcement email) may receive multiple announcement emails.
