Thistle Thursday offers weekly informal sailing and short practice races to work on boat handling and is open to all skill levels!
New to Thistle Thursday? No worries, we provide a brief boat orientation before sailing and try to pair up new sailors with an experienced skipper.
If you are interested in sailing on Thistle Thursday, email clsa.thistlefleet66@gmail.com so you can be added to the weekly mailing list and get a boat assignment.
Planned schedule:
- 5:00pm Just in time training for new participants
- 5:30pm rig and launch thistles
- 6:00pm first practice race begins
- Sundown: finish racing
- put boats away
- Brat BBQ
